Clwyd Badger Group was delighted to have a fundraising and awareness table at Tesco Wrexham, where we enjoyed meeting shoppers, answering lots of questions about badgers and sharing information about the work our volunteers do across North Wales.
We were grateful for the generous donations received, which will help support our work protecting badgers, including responding to injured animals, monitoring setts, investigating welfare concerns and promoting badger conservation.
It was fantastic to see so much interest in badgers and to have the opportunity to chat with people about these often misunderstood animals. Every conversation helps raise awareness and encourages more people to take an interest in protecting local wildlife.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped for a chat or made a donation, and to Tesco Wrexham for hosting us!
📍 Look out for us at Tesco Llandudno soon! We’ll be there to answer your questions, share what we do and help raise vital funds for badgers across North Wales. We hope to see you there!
