Clwyd Badger Group was delighted to attend the Bionet Nature Day at Nantclwyd y Dre in Ruthin, joining a fantastic range of environmental organisations, conservation groups and local authorities to celebrate the wildlife and natural environment of North East Wales.
The event provided a brilliant opportunity to meet other organisations working to protect nature, share information about our work across North Wales, and talk to members of the public about badgers and the importance of conserving their habitats. It was particularly encouraging to see so many groups coming together with a shared commitment to protecting and enhancing biodiversity.
Events like this are an important way to raise awareness, build relationships and encourage more people to get involved in conservation. From protecting badgers and their setts to supporting wider wildlife and habitat conservation, we all have a part to play in safeguarding our natural environment.
A big thank you to Bionet and everyone involved in organising the event for bringing so many people together for nature!
