Please use this form to report a badger that has been hit by a vehicle. Every detail helps our volunteers respond and, where relevant, arrange bTB carcass testing.

North Wales only: we can only respond to incidents within Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire or Wrexham. If your sighting is elsewhere, please contact your local badger group or wildlife rescue instead.

Thanks for flagging this. Wales runs a badger carcass surveillance scheme for bovine TB, and a fresh roadkill badger can sometimes be tested. One of our volunteers may ask if the carcass can be safely collected. Please do not attempt to move or handle the badger yourself.

If the badger is still alive, please call us straight away instead of only filling in this form. A form submission may not be seen immediately, and an injured badger needs help fast. Keep a safe distance, do not attempt to touch or move it, and keep an eye on the location if you can do so safely while you call.
