Report a Sett
Tell us where you’ve spotted a badger sett so we can check its recorded, we’ll send someone to formally log the sett if its not on our records and this support local protection efforts including when it comes to planning permissions.
Report a Sett
Please share the location of any suspected badger sett with Clwyd Badger Group. If you can include a photograph, that would be very helpful, but the most important thing is providing an accurate and clear location.
You can provide the location using what3words, an OS grid reference, or latitude and longitude coordinates.
Accurate location information is really important, as it allows our volunteers to find the exact entrance or sett you have spotted and investigate it properly.
Example:
” I think I’ve found a sett near my home, where I walk my dogs. I could see 3 holes and looks like a lot of soil dug up in front of them. Its near a fence at the back of my local public woodland, the what3words is: ///afternoon.homing.cake*”
